Steve and I hurdled Up North late Tuesday afternoon, arriving in TC in time for a brilliant sunset. We had drinks with Bruce and matt and walked downtown a bit. It was brisk — that good clean, cold feeling you find Up North…

http://www.tametheweb.com/galleries/TC1231/

Wedenesday, I got up early and walked with the iPod to Espresso Bay for an English Breakfast tea. It was relaxing…no one was out and about yet….
Wednesday we spent some time zipping around TC – out to the cottage — where we walked on the frozen ice of Spider Lake! — and to Building 50, where we bumped into Heidi Johnson! It was great to see her and talk Macs, printers and photography. She has some incredible new work hanging in the hallway outside her office.

Downtown Traverse City was still decked out for the holidays. We had a great lunch at Amical of Tomato Basil soup and Whitefish pate. I ran by Epiphany Salon for some hair stuff. I’d never been there before…

New Year’s Eve we had dinner with Bruce and company and enjoyed a fine evening.
