Charlie died sudenly this morning, probably from gastrointestinal
distress — bloat.
We had a great day yesterday: hiking, a picnic, a long drive to Frankfort
– all with Charlie Bone. Last night he ate and got a little sick but we
called the emergency vet and she said he was probably okay.
She had us walk him and watch him for a couple of hours. This morning he wasn’t okay. We rushed him to a vet — with our neighbor who is a vet as well… and he died quickly on the exam table.
We are devastated and trying to cope. I don’t know what to do exactly…
